Leaf vascular patterning in Arabidopsis.

Expression of the ß-glucuronidase (GUS) reporter gene under the control of RLK7 promoter in Arabidopsis leaf. RLK7 gene encode a putative receptor-like kinase of the plant specific LRR-type. As shown on this photograph, RLK7 is expressed in the leaf vascular tissue. Photograph was taken using a Leica MZ12 stereomicroscope equipped with a Leica MPS 60 camera.
